Listen to The Kesh Jig while reading this post.

Dear Friends,

I'm pretty bad at consistently writing and keeping you updated on the goings on in my life and my business. But Im trying to get better, and you don't get better through visualization alone. So, Here's to practice.

I turned twenty-eight yesterday!
I spent the entire day with my family, which was really nice. Seriously, what my soul needed I think.
We went to brunch at my favorite breakfast spot in Gresham, Sweet Betty's Bistro (if you're in the area, put that on your list of places to try!) and then my brother and I walked to a little plant sale and he bought me a fern, that I appropriately named "Fern". We drove up to the river property my moms husbands family owns and spent some time chatting and enjoying the 85degree weather.
I decided that I wanted Irish food instead of going out for drinks, so I met back up with my brother and sister in law for a meal at the Highland Stillhouse in Oregon city. After ordering cottage pie + chips, they brought me a free brownie after hearing it was my birthday! (even though i really wanted to order their famous bread pudding. its so good. but the brownie was free so, not complaining here.)
If you've not been to the HS, put that on your "to eat at" list! Keep in mind they have a small kitchen and they're a very popular spot so you may have to wait. We spent a few hours on the patio (in the sun with drinks, so again not complaining)

(fern fits in well with the other plants. they are being nice to her, welcoming her to the jungle.)

Cheers to Twenty Eight. I have a really, really good feeling about this year.

xo, Ariel
